Before the Morning

Sometimes, all you need in life is a little faith.

One day after I lost my job, I was feeling pretty beat down when ‘Before the Morning’ by Josh Wilson came on the radio. It was the first time I had heard that song and for some reason, the lyrics really stuck with me… “Do you wonder why you have to feel the things that hurt you? If there’s a God who loves you where is He now? Or maybe there are things you can’t see, and all those things are happening to bring a better ending.”

Well, I’ve always known that everything happens for a reason and God sure showed me that he’s been by my side this whole time. I have now started a new job with NBC Sports Network and couldn’t feel more fortunate.

I started this new adventure at the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama and it continued with the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach last weekend. I am happy to say that I will continue with NBCSN as an Operations Assistant for the rest of the season. I have already met so many great people and I’m really looking forward to still working around the crazy racing family. This is just the beginning!

‘Before the Morning’ continues with – “Would you dare, would you dare to believe that you still have a reason to sing? ‘Cause the pain that you’ve been feeling, it can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.”

Goodbye pain, hello joy.
