Did you ever wonder how the nose of each Andretti Autosport car gleams with a chrome finish? It is all thanks to Gold Touch Inc. and their Cosmichrome spray.

It is a hybrid of paint and plating that allows you to spray chrome on many surfaces, such as metals, ceramics, plastics, glass and even wood.

“We have been working with Andretti Autosport for three years and it’s worked out really well,” said Terry Collins, President of Gold Touch Inc. ”It is proven to work well even on the Andretti Autosport Indy cars that are flying around the race track at 200 miles per hour.”

The spray chrome system is comprised of three coatings. Two of the coatings are automotive grade paints and are applied in our paint booths. The metallic spray chrome coating is applied with a special Cosmichrome® machine that applies a sprayed on electroless plating solution.
